Today marks British tennis sensation Emma Raducanu’s 23rd birthday – a milestone coming amid both spectacular achievements and challenging setbacks.
She rose to international prominence at just 18, shocking the sporting world by winning the 2021 US Open as the first-ever qualifier to secure a Grand Slam title. Since then, Raducanu has become a commercial juggernaut, attracting high-profile endorsements and global attention.
On the court, though, steady performance has often been elusive. Issues with form and fitness have prevented her from building on the explosive start to her professional career and she has yet to come close to winning another major title.
That said, 2025 has been a productive year for her. After years of injuries and coaching changes, Raducanu has developed a level of consistency and has been steadily climbing back up the rankings.
Now in her mid-20s, the London-born player faces a critical phase in her career – a ‘now or never’ moment to meet the immense expectations placed upon her shoulders.
Off the court, she continues to attract public interest, not only for her tennis but also for her lifestyle and social connections, including her friendship with fellow star Carlos Alcaraz. Here, we examine her net worth and personal life.

Net worth
Recent estimates place Raducanu’s net worth at approximately £13.5million. Much of this comes not just from prize money but also from strategic commercial deals and her own business ventures.
On the tennis front, her extraordinary 2021 US Open victory brought substantial prize money and a global platform for growth. Throughout her career, Raducanu has earned around £4.5m from tournaments, with £1.8m coming specifically from her Flushing Meadows triumph four years ago.
Off the court, she has secured major endorsement agreements with internationally recognised brands, including Nike, Dior, British Airways, Tiffany & Co. and Porsche. Her company, Harbour 6 (established in 2020 to manage her commercial earnings), has expanded from modest beginnings – holding just £44 in its first trading year – to millions in cash and assets according to recent accounts.

Overall, the combination of on-court achievements and off-court branding has provided Raducanu with remarkable financial stability, particularly notable for someone so young and without consistent major victories.
Marketing specialist Nigel Currie said: “Emma and her management team are clearly very smart. They have capitalised on her amazing US Open victory in 2021, when she was just 18. Sponsors are always on the lookout for high profile female athletes.
“Looks and physique are also important, while outgoing personalities do well with media engagements and sponsorship contracts. She has all of those qualities in abundance.”
Relationship with Alcaraz

Raducanu’s friendship with Carlos Alcaraz has attracted widespread media and fan attention. Their bond goes back to 2021, when both teenagers made headlines at Wimbledon and the US Open.
They have appeared together at events – including competing in mixed doubles at the 2025 US Open. Raducanu described Alcaraz as “so nice, very happy, amazing values and just a really positive light to be around,” sparking speculation that their connection might have turned romantic, particularly following Raducanu’s split from Carlo Agostinelli earlier this year.
However, both have repeatedly stressed that they are just friends, with Raducanu dismissing the rumours at press events earlier this year. Alcaraz reiterated the point at the ATP Finals this month, insisting he was not in a relationship with anyone.
In 2024, the six-time Grand Slam winner admitted it was difficult to find love with his busy schedule. “I am single,” he told The Times. “I am looking for someone. It can be difficult as a tennis player to meet the right person because you are travelling all the time.”
