Miami-Dade correctional deputies booked Doherty, 22, shortly after 8:45 a.m. on Saturday at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, county inmate records show.
Doherty faced a felony charge of possession of amphetamine, a controlled substance, and two misdemeanor charges: Possession of 20 grams or less of marijuana and resisting arrest without violence.
County court records show prosecutors filed a case on Saturday afternoon listing the Miami Beach Police Department as the arresting agency and Miami-Dade County Circuit Judge Carlos Gamez as presiding.
