Adrian Bajrami’s ‘boomerang’ returns, Switzerland leaves him in the stands for the match against Sweden

Switzerland coach Murat Yakin has left center back Adrian Bajrami in the stands for the match against Sweden.

Switzerland can secure qualification for the World Cup with a home win over Sweden, while if they drop points and Kosovo wins over Slovenia at the same time, then everything will be decided in Pristina.

However, due to having invited 25 players, Yakin was forced to leave two of them in the stands, and one of the “sacrificed” is Bajrami, who left Albania to represent Switzerland last month.
