Road Closures Impact Pulse 900 and Route 902 During Oshawa Santa Claus Parade

On Saturday, November 15, 2025, residents and visitors in Oshawa will experience road closures due to the annual Santa Claus Parade, impacting local public transportation routes. The Pulse 900 and Route 902 bus services will be forced to implement detours to navigate around the festivities.

For the Pulse 900 eastbound service, the route will divert via Stevenson Road and Adelaide Avenue, while westbound service will continue to follow its regular path. Meanwhile, Route 902 will also be affected, with eastbound buses diverting along Gibb Street, Stevenson Road, Adelaide Avenue, and Ritson Road, while its westbound service will remain unchanged.

To accommodate these changes, several temporary bus stops will be established. Specifically, the Stevenson Road stop will be available for passengers northbound at Bond Street, located just south of Bond Street. In addition, all stops along the established detour routes will be serviced to ensure minimal disruption for passengers.

Commuters are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and allow extra time for travel due to the parade and the associated traffic changes. As the community gathers to celebrate, these adjustments aim to balance public transport needs with the festive activities of the day.
