Jack Catterall blasts opponent out of ring then refuses to celebrate brutal KO

JACK CATTERALL refused to celebrate after forcing Ekow Essuman out of the ring, with the latter man NEEDING OXYGEN to recover.
The pair were competing as the co-main event at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and were the last fighters out before Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn‘s rematch.

Catterall stayed with him as he received ringside treatment and oxygen
The experienced competitors were fighting for the WBO Global Welterweight title.
Catterall opened the stronger of the two and surely took the first rounds on the scorecards.
He landed a brutal blow in the fourth round that opened a cut on his opponent’s nose, and it appeared as though he may even have broken it.
Essuman rallied after round five to push the pace and take some rounds of his own.

But 32-year-old Catterall turned up the heat in the eleventh round, downing his opponent in what was initially seen as a controversial blow.
Essuman appeared to slip at first, with Catterall striking just as he was standing up.

The favourite came back at his opponent again just seconds later, punching him out of the ring at the end of a relentless spell of pressure.
Essuman was clearly unable to recover before the end of the count and the co-main event was called in favour of Catterall.
