The New York Rangers will look to carry the momentum from their high-scoring victory against the Tampa Bay Lightning to Columbus. After a slow start to the season, the Rangers have started to come to life, winning six of their last eight games. On the flip side, the Bluejackets are coming off an overtime win against the Edmonton Oilers.
The Rangers may be without Will Borgen, who suffered an upper-body injury and is considered day-to-day. Borgen has quietly been a very solid defenseman for the Blueshirts, but if he can’t go, Matthew Robertson will slot in for him, and Braden Schneider will move up to the third line.

Player to Watch: Alexis Lafrenière
After receiving a lot of hate to start the season, Alexis Lafrenière has come to life. In his last eight games, Lafrenière has nine points, three of which are goals and the other six being assists. The Rangers’ inability to finish hindered Lafrenière’s stats and his public perception, but he has been generating chances all season.
The team needs to keep the momentum they generated in the last few games, and Lafrenière will be a large part of that. He will continue to play on a line with Artemi Panarin and Vincent Trocheck, which has found success in the past.
Enjoy the game!
