Final Injury Report for Nuggets-Timberwolves, Will Nikola Jokic, Cameron Johnson Play?

The Denver Nuggets are on the road on Saturday night as they travel to take on the Minnesota Timberwolves in a Western Conference showdown.

Denver enters Saturday’s game with a 9-2 record after defeating the Los Angeles Clippers on the road on Wednesday night.

In Wednesday’s victory over the Clippers, Nikola Jokic led the way for the Nuggets as he recorded 55 points, 12 rebounds and six assists while Aaron Gordon added 18 points and five rebounds of his own.

Now Denver will look to pick up their 10th victory of the season on Saturday night in a tough matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

On the other side, Minnesota enters Saturday’s contest with an 8-4 record after defeating the Sacramento Kings at home on Friday night.

Anthony Edwards led the way for the Timberwolves in Friday’s victory as he ended the game with 30 points, four rebounds and four assists while Julius Randle recorded 26 points, 11 rebounds and five assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up another victory in Saturday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

Nuggets Injury Report, Will Nikola Jokic, Cameron Johnson Play?

For the Nuggets, they have three players listed on their injury report for Saturday’s game, including Jokic.

Denver has listed Jokic as questionable for Saturday due to a left wrist sprain and he is in danger of missing his first game of the season.

If Jokic is sidelined, it would be a massive blow for the Nuggets and Jonas Valanciunas and Zeke Nnaji could be in line for a larger role against the Timberwolves.

The Nuggets have ruled out Cameron Johnson due to a right biceps strain and Christian Braun is sideline due to a left ankle sprain that is se to keep him out for six weeks.

With Johnson and Braun sidelined, Peyton Watson and Bruce Brown will likely have larger roles for the Nuggets.

Timberwolves Injury Report, Will Terrence Shannon Jr. Play?

On the other side, the Timberwolves have only one player listed on their injury report as they have ruled out Terrence Shannon Jr.

Minnesota has ruled out Shannon Jr. due to a left foot injury that has already kept him sidelined for the last five games.

The young guard is expected to miss at least another week due to the injury and while he is sideline, Mike Conley and Rob Dillingham will likely continue to have an increased role.
