How many points did Bronny James score? Lakers vs. Bucks stats

Biggest NBA surprises

These are the NBA teams we’ve been most surprised by almost a month into the season.

Bronny James made his second career start for the Los Angeles Lakers in Saturday’s 119-95 victory against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Even with the start, James saw limited action during the game, despite the Lakers holding a 65-34 halftime lead. He went scoreless after missing a 3-point attempt with four minutes of play in the first half.

Through the first three quarters of play, his only other shot attempt came from the 3-point line, missing a wide-open shot before the Bucks took the ball down the other end for a score.

He returned to the game in the final minutes of the fourth quarter to help put the game away for the Lakers.

James and Jake Laravia started for the Lakers in place of Rui Hachimura (calf) and Marcus Smart (illness), who were ruled out for the game.

Deandre Ayton, Austin Reaves and Luka Doncic rounded out the starting lineup against the Bucks.

He entered Saturday’s game averaging 2.3 points, 1.1 assists and 0.7 rebounds per game during his career.

He has seen an increase in minutes so far this season, having played just 6.7 minutes during his rookie season.
