And now Jordon Ibe, who was previously considered as one of the Premier League’s most promising stars, has signed with Bulgarian outfit Lokomotiv Sofia.

The forward put pen to paper on a two-year deal with the first-division side just two weeks after joining Isthmian League South East Division club Sittingbourne.

Ibe burst onto the scene in 2015 during Jurgen Klopp‘s first year in charge of Liverpool.

The versatile winger joined the Reds from Wycombe Wanderers in 2012 but didn’t make his debut until 2013.

he then underwent a loan stint at Birmingham City and Derby County.

Under Klopp, the forward was quickly established as main part of the first team.

Ibe went on to amass a total of four goals and seven assists in 58 appearances with the Merseysiders.

That led to a number of caps with England’s youth sides until 2016.

However, the ex-England under-21 international left Anfield for Bournemouth in 2016 following a £15million deal.

The former Liverpool star’s fortunes didn’t improve as he only managed five goals and nine assists in 92 appearances during his four-year stint at the Vitality Stadium.

That led to a return to Derby where Ibe got embroiled into a brave battle with depression.

The player revealed he found himself in a “dark place” that limited him to just one appearance with the Rams until 2021 when his second stint at Pride Park came to an end.

Ibe then moved to Turkey’s second division for Adanaspor in 2022 but never played for the team.

The former Liverpool ace returned to action in 2023 and played for non-league clubs Ebbsfleet United, Hayes & Yeading United, Hungerford Town and of course Sittingbourne.

Ibe had previously seen a move to Sweden break down due to work permit issues after a trial with Umea.

And he appeared in the first edition of Baller League UK for John Terry’s 26ers earlier this year.
