Bengals make roster moves, update Jermaine Burton’s status

The Cincinnati Bengals made roster moves before kickoff against the Pittsburgh Steelers and revealed that wideout Jermaine Burton won’t travel with the team in Week 11.
Those Bengals sent rookie Shemar Stewart to injured reserve, put Jaxson Krikland on the practice squad/injured list and elevated defensive end Isaiah Foskey and running back Kendall Milton from the practice squad for Sunday’s game.
As for Burton, the Bengals downgraded him to out and announced he won’t travel with the team to Pittsburgh due to illness.

Burton’s week has been an odd one. He was out with an illness in the middle of the week, then returned to practice on Friday. Now, he’s downgraded to out and won’t be with the team.
A report during the bye week said the Bengals have “little to no trust” in Burton, who hasn’t been able to regularly escape the inactives list this year, his second season as a pro.
The Bengals feel good about the depth at wideout, of course, hence the practice squad elevations being used to reinforce the pass-rush and running back room for the game against the Steelers.
