The nation’s top-ranked team is a 32.5-point favorite for Saturday’s game against Rutgers, according to DraftKings. This comes after the Buckeyes were favored by more than 30 points against UCLA last week.
Ohio State has had historical success against Rutgers, winning all 10 matchups in the series. And this year’s OSU team could be the best one the Scarlet Knights have ever faced.
The Buckeyes are off to a 10-0 start after winning a national title last season.
Ohio State opened its season against preseason-No. 1 Texas. Since that victory, the Buckeyes have been the nation’s top-ranked team in the AP Top 25. They have also been the No. 1 team in the two College Football Playoff rankings this month.
Rutgers hasn’t had as much success. The Scarlet Knights are 5-5, but they’ve won two of their last three games after suffering a midseason four-game losing streak.
