The DFS Must Starts: Bad Defenses Highlight Bengals-Steelers Matchup In Week 11

Let’s get back on track this week with The DFS Must Starts!
My main plays were busts last week as Chicago’s D.J. Moore was the worst as he put up a big fat zero playing through an injury in the Bears’ come-from-behind win against NY Giants.
But it is a new week and the spreadsheet has zeroed on one game this week – Cincinnati at Pittsburgh.
Let’s get into top plays!
QB DFS Must Starts
Joe Flacco, Cincinnati ($5,500, 4.2 percent rostered)
Flacco faces the Steelers defense again after torching it for 342 yards and three touchdowns four weeks ago.
And the Pittsburgh has not improved since against quarterbacks.
The Steelers are allowing QBs to score 22.3 DraftKings points a game this season and are giving up the most passing yards a game, averaging 269.4 yards passing.
And as a bonus, Flacco is not one of the Top 3 rostered QBs this week.
Chalky Play: Josh Allen, Buffalo ($7,000, 13.6 percent rostered)
Value Play: Davis Mills, Houston ($4,500, 3 percent rostered)
RB DFS Must Starts
Jaylen Warren, Pittsburgh ($6,100, 16.4 percent rostered)
Warren is not in my Top 10 RBs on my spreadsheet, but it is hard to ignore him against the hapless Bengals defense.
Cincinnati has given up a 100-yard rushing game in three straight and it started with Warren’s 127-yard effort in the high-scoring Thursday Night game.
The Bengals are allowing 35.1 DK points to running backs this season, and Warren remains involved in the passing game as he averages 3.3 targets a game.
Chalky Play: Josh Jacobs, Green Bay ($7,800, 19.7 percent rostered)
Value Play: RJ Harvey, Denver ($5,400, 10.8 percent rostered)
WR DFS Must Starts
Tee Higgins, Cincinnati ($6,000, 6.9 percent rostered)
I know a lot of other DFS pundits are going with Ja’Marr Chase ($8,500, 17.5 percent rostered and he’s my Chalky Play) but Higgins’ value makes him the better play.
And just like the QB DK points against, the Steelers have been awful vs. WRs in DK scoring, giving up a league-worst 43.2 DK points a game.
Higgins has held his own the last three weeks against his teammate. Higgins has scored in three straight games and had his two biggest fantasy weeks of the season.
He’s averaging 4.6 receptions, 87 receiving yards and 1.3 touchdowns in those three games.
Chalky Play: Chase, see above
Value Play: Michael Wilson, Arizona ($3,800, 9.9 percent rostered)
TE DFS Must Starts
Colston Loveland, Chicago ($3,600, 3.8 percent rostered)
Loveland slipped back behind Cole Kmet in snap percentage last week against the Giants, but Loveland continues to be the TE Caleb Williams targets.
Since the Bears’ Week 5 bye, Loveland has averaged 4.6 targets a game and he produced a big game against the Bengals in Week 9.
Kmet has missed one game during the same stretch but has only seen 7 targets in his last four games.
Minnesota is giving 15.3 DK points to TEs this season and if Loveland can eat most of that production, it could be a very good week.
Chalky Play: Trey McBride, Arizona ($6,300, 17.1 percent rostered)
Value Play: Noah Fant, Cincinnati ($3,200, 2.5 percent rostered)
DST Plays
Houston ($3,700, 9.8 percent rostered) at Tennessee
Cleveland ($2,400, 3.7 percent rostered) home against Baltimore
LA Chargers ($2,800, 4.5 percent rostered) at Jacksonville
