A fan favourite from Strictly Come Dancing has been eliminated. During the live show, former Love Island star Amber Davies and her partner Nikita Kuzmin had topped the leaderboard with their Paso Doble.
But not everyone was celebrating, as several celebrities struggled to score over 30. Now spoilers have confirmed that a major star has been sent home. Taking to X, formally known as Twitter, one fan penned: “According to reports the person that left tonight had a fall in the dance off and that’s why they have gone. I AM HEARTBROKEN.”
While a second went on to state: “Nah I’m actually devastated icl [I can’t lie]. Can’t believe that celeb has gone home but so happy the other celeb is still here and survived the dance off again.”

“Actually think this is the most shocking bottom 2 in years,” another viewer wrote. Meanwhile, a fourth added: “Shocking decision from the judges narratively but makes sense based on how well they actually danced.”
“Only my opinion but I think it’s one of the first times this series the wrong person has gone,” commented a fifth furious fan.
This week, Craig Revel Horwood held the deciding vote on who would be eliminated from the competition, the Mirror reports.
The week proved challenging for the celebrities with multiple unexpected stars finding themselves in bother, such as George Clarke and Alexis Warr, Balvinder Sopal and Julian Caillon as well as Vicky Pattinson and Kai Widdrington – who was at the top of the leaderboard last week.
Meanwhile, Emmerdale’s Lewis Cope and Katya Jones soared towards the top of the leaderboard. Despite Craig’s harsh critique of Vicky, fellow judge Motsi Mabuse praised the Geordie Shore star, saying: “Choreography has gone up a level in difficulty, you’re out sunshine”.
Anton Du Beke also praised her, describing her Jive to Sound of The Underground by Girls Aloud as “wonderfully performed”.
Although the main show airs on Saturday evening, the results segment is recorded immediately afterwards, with the same studio audience present for both. This means the audience knows who has been eliminated nearly a full day before the rest of the public.

To stop any leaks, audience members are not allowed to have their mobile phones in the studio and anyone who brings in a phone must hand it over to security.
They are able to collect their phones once recording is over and they leave the building. However, the celebrities, their family and friends, pro dancers and production crew are all allowed to have their phones on them.
Even with the strict measures preventing the studio audience from sharing information, results show spoilers have continued to leak during filming, leaving many to wonder how leaks keep happening.

Spoilers have always been an issue on Strictly, but this is the first year where the results have leaked when filming is still going on. A source told The Sun that leaks “plague” the show.
“Spoilers have plagued Strictly for years with fans struggling to avoid finding out who leaves before the Sunday results show airs. Now, results are ending up online while the cameras are still rolling,” they explained.
This weeks elimination is a double setback for the star, who has just missed the opportunity to perform at Blackpool’s iconic Tower Ballroom next weekend – an event that will feature the return of four former contestants in a surprising twist.
