Strictly star ‘to miss out’ on Blackpool Week as fans rush to support
Strictly Come Dancing fans are certain they know who is leaving the show next.
The glitzy BBC One dancing competition returned to screens on Saturday night (November 15), as hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman welcomed the famous faces celebrities back to the iconic ballroom.
Judges Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, Motsi Mabuse, and Craig Revel Horwood were on hand too, ready to share their thoughts, ahead of the seventh elimination on Sunday.
So far in the competition, we have said goodbye to the likes of Ellie Goldstein and Ross King. Meanwhile last week, Gladiator Nitro a.k.a. Harry Aikines-Aryeetey was eliminated from the show, following a dance off with La Voix.
Balvinder performed
And during the latest episode EastEnders star Balvinder Sopal took to the dance floor with pro partner Julian Caillon to perform an American Smooth, hoping to make it to Blackpool Week next week.
But already fans are predicting she could be going next due to her performing first on the show and also due to her showing Julian the EastEnders set during the VT.
On X, one person said: “I think if Bal is showing Jules around the Eastenders set she must think she’s going.” Another chimed in: “Oh they want bal gone.” A third chimed in: “Balvinder is up first she needs all the votes tonight.”
Fans fear she could be next to leave
Once their routine was over, the exit fears for Balvinder continued, especially following the judges’ feedback and scores. Anton Du Beke praised her “lovely musicality” but noted that “it was a little safe”. He explained: “I wanted a bit more of that positivity you showed last week.”
Craig Revel Horwood then chimed in and said: “Your frame occasionally was a bit iffy,” in which the studio audience then booed. Craig continued: “You need to watch your recovery arm and I would like to see a bit more punch. But you always dance with conviction and that’s what I love about you.”
They bagged a total score of 27
As for the scores, Craig awarded her a six while Motsi, Shirley and Anton gave Balvinder a seven, giving her a total score of 27. However, fans were left livid by the feedback and scores and fear her time on the show is coming to an end.
One person fumed on X: ” That scoring was so harsh.” A second declared: “Balvinder is next out then.” A third also claimed Balvinder was not happy with the score as well, as they wrote: “Bal does not look happy! Bless her.”
Strictly Come Dancing airs every weekend on BBC One.
