Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren suffered an ankle injury during the third quarter of the team’s NFL Week 11 game against the Cincinnati Bengals at Acrisure Stadium.
Warren was slow to get up after making a catch. He was tackled by Bengals defensive back Jordan Battle on the play.
Warren limped off the field with a trainer. He was replaced by Kenneth Gainwell.
The Steelers announced Warren was questionable to return to the game.
Warren had a season-best 127 rushing yards on 16 carries in the Week 7 meeting between the teams in Cincinnati.
During Pittsburgh’s NFL Week 13 win in 2024 against the Bengals at Paycor Stadium, Warren had three carries for nine rushing yards along with four catches for 55 receiving yards. In a Week 18 loss to Cincinnati, he had 21 rushing yards.
Warren was signed by the Steelers as an undrafted free agent in 2022.
