The first NBA game to tip-off on Sunday, Nov. 16 takes place at TD Garden in Boston where the Boston Celtics are hosting the LA Clippers.
This NBA game is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on NBC Sports Boston, FanDuel Sports Network SoCal and The CW. The Celtics are 6-7 after picking up a 131-95 win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday. The team has been off since then, which was the fifth game in eight days for Boston. Payton Pritchard was the leading scorer against the Grizzlies with 24 to go with nine assists and six rebounds. Derrick White had 20 with two steals and Jaylen Brown went for 19 with six assists and six boards. Luka Garza had 14 and seven off the bench while Neemias Queta provided 13 and eight boards in the starting lineup. Meanwhile, Jordan Walsh also continues to provide a positive impact, this time as a starter once again.
The Clippers are 4-8 but coming off a double overtime victory over the Dallas Mavericks that stopped a six-game losing streak. In that 133-127 win, James Harden had game highs with 41 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists as he also matched a team high with two blocks and snagged a steal in his heroic effort. Ivica Zubac had 27 points and 11 boards while Derrick Jones had 15 with three steals and two blocks. Bogdan Bogdanovic had 21 and four steals off the bench.
