Dad-of-one Bailey was besotted with his bride Rebecca but he has since confirmed that the romance has come crashing down and they are no longer together.
Alongside a new snap on Instagram, he confirmed the break-up for the first time.
In a lengthy statement, Bailey confirmed he was “heartbroken” over the end of their marriage, writing: “Unfortunately it’s time to share that Bec and I are no longer together…
“We tried our best to navigate life after the experiment, and although we spent a lot of great time together on the outside, unfortunately the relationship came to an end.

“I still have a lot of love for Bec and I’m grateful for the amazing relationship we shared.
“I had fallen for Bec completely and it really was a true love story.”
He went on to reveal he had struggled to watch them “in love” on-screen, knowing that they had ended their romantic union.
Bailey continued: “I won’t lie, watching us fall in love all over again on screen has been ridiculously hard to go through and it’s something I’m still struggling with now. But I wouldn’t have changed any of it!
“Sadly I also have to address the various different false online allegations constantly being spread about me since the start of MAFS, which have been hard to deal with.
“I want to make it very clear, I never cheated on Bec at any point.
“I didn’t handle our break up well and for that I’m truly sorry to Bec, but I was completely loyal the whole way through our relationship.
“I’m not perfect, I don’t claim to be and I take responsibility for my part in why the relationship didn’t work.”
He ended his statement by saying: “Making the decision to end things was heartbreaking and not a decision that I took lightly.
“I’m still heartbroken, but I wish Bec all the best and I always will.”
The TV hunk had previously shared plenty of photos with Rebecca from both inside and outside the experiment before confirming the sad news of their split.
