TV host and ex-professional footballer Alex Scott is set to join the 2025 cast of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
She was seen touching down in Australia earlier this week, having flown into Brisbane airport. The former Arsenal star bid a heartfelt farewell to her partner, singer Jess Glynne, at Heathrow Airport before embarking on her jungle adventure.
Scott will be joining streaming sensation AngryGinge and rapper Aitch for the ITV show’s 25th season, which will span 22 episodes over the next month.
Discussing her upcoming stint on the show, she told ITV: “I will need to push myself to speak out around all of the different and big personalities.
“Not going into myself for being the shy one will be my big challenge.

“People see you on TV and they assume you are outgoing, that loud person, but take me to red carpets or events and I am the one in the corner going, ‘talk to me, please give me a plus one so I don’t have to be that person who walks in on my own.’
“It’s going to be a challenge.”
As Scott prepares to enter the jungle, here is a look at her successful career to date.

Scott reportedly boasts a net worth of £2million, accumulated through her football earnings and successful TV career. She ranks among the BBC’s top-earning presenters, with her 2023-2024 salary estimated at around £220,000.
During his tenure at the BBC as the host of Match Of The Day, Gary Lineker was the top earner, raking in £1.35million annually. At that time, Scott ranked as the fifth-highest paid personality on BBC Sport, with only Mark Chapman, Alan Shearer and Jason Mohammad earning more.
Scott, who presents Football Focus and reached the quarter-finals of Strictly Come Dancing, is no stranger to the television industry.

Four years ago, in March 2021, Scott moved into her £1.5million home, which boasts a vibrant nature-inspired design filled with plants.
Her house also features a gym, which Scott frequently shares workout videos from. It’s believed she shares this home with her partner, Jess Glynne.
The interior showcases a theme of cream-coloured furniture and window shutters, providing a striking contrast to the plants on display. Her guitar often makes an appearance in her social media posts.

Scott and Glynne have been an item since 2023, confirming their relationship after months of rumours. Scott has previously opened up about the challenges she’s faced in the relationship, attributing them to her father’s alleged physical and mental abuse.
In an interview with The Times, she described growing up in a household that was very non-emotional. Her father has denied these allegations.
“We weren’t allowed to express emotion,” Scott said. “Dad didn’t allow us to hug each other or say, ‘I love you’. It had a huge impact on us all. To this day, if I want to show people love, I’ll do it by taking them out to dinner and paying.
“I remember one of the first times Jess hugged me. I was like… [rigid]. She was like, ‘Are you not going to put your arms around me?’ But I didn’t know how to do that.”
