Emmerdale star Lisa Riley was seen crying ‘shut up’ as a glimpse into her preparations for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here was revealed.
The actress, who is famed for playing Mandy Dingle in the ITV soap, has already been seen making her way to Australia this week, ahead of the much-loved programme’s return this Sunday (November 16).
After her involvement in the reality show’s 2025 series was confirmed, a video was posted to her Instagram account in which she could be seen in the Emmerdale village, closing the door on her character’s business.
In the clip, she says: “Well, that’s the business closed for weeks. The rumours seem to be true. See you in Australia.” She’s then seen picking up a hat and putting the Australian flag around her shoulders.
It’s her Emmerdale co-star, Bradley Riches, who will be keeping Lisa’s followers updated on her jungle antics while she’s Down Under and he’s now shared a video of how she prepared for her I’m A Celeb stint.
In a video posted on Instagram, the soap star could be seen heading onto the Emmerdale set and it wasn’t to film as she was introduced to some long-tailed friends.

In the clip, Lisa was handed over a rat to try and get her used to what she may face in the jungle. “I’m shaking. I can’t do it! I can’t do it! she said as she took hold of it.
“Shut up!” she cried as she was told to imagine having hundreds more around her once Down Under. Eventually, she had two rats on each shoulder and Lisa looked almost emotional.
Alongside the clip, the caption read: “Jungle prep 101: start with Rhi Rhi’s adorable rats. So… is Lisa ready for the jungle? Catch her on Sunday 9pm @imacelebrity @itv.”
