Instant Reactions: Dallas snaps skid with big games from P.J. Washington and Cooper Flagg

Dallas Mavericks forward Cooper Flagg grabbed a rebound and threw a pass down the court for a sprinting P.J. Washington.
In his first game back from a shoulder injury, Washington turned the pass into a dunk and hung on the rim as the American Airlines Center exploded.
Dallas just needed to hold on to its lead— something it failed to do during its recent three-game skid.
But this time was different. Cooper Flagg and Washington made key plays down the stretch to help the Mavericks beat the Portland Trail Blazers 138-133 on Sunday.
Washington finished with 21 points and was assisted throughout by Klay Thompson, who had 19 points on 5-of-11 shooting from beyond the arc.
Sunday’s game closed out the Mavericks’ four-game homestand. They travel to face the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday.
