Harris named MVP of 112th Grey Cup, Emilus top Canadian
Saskatchewan Roughriders quarterback Trevor Harris was named the Most Valuable Player of the 112th Grey Cup after his team defeated the Montreal Alouettes.
Harris, 39, threw for 302 passing yards, leading his team to victory.
The 6-foot-3 pivot had 4,549 passing yards in the regular season with 24 touchdowns and 11 interceptions to lead the Roughriders to the best record in the CFL at 12-6.
Meanwhile, Roughriders wide receiver Samuel Emilus was named the Most Valuable Canadian.
The Montreal native had 108 receiving yards on 10 catches to help push his team to their first championship sine 2013.
Emilus had 588 receiving yards with two touchdowns in seven regular season games.
