Major Drama Over the Queen’s Corgis as King Charles Prepares to “Seize” Them From Andrew

  • King Charles is “preparing to seize” Queen Elizabeth II’s corgis from Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

  • The dogs have been living with Andrew since Her Majesty’s death.

  • Charles is “deeply unsettled” by their living situation.

Time for a quick check-in on Queen Elizabeth II’s corgis. These pups (named Muick and Sandy) have been chilling with disgraced royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor since Her Majesty’s death, but it looks like King Charles isn’t having it.

The palace previously gave a statement to The Independent saying “the corgis will remain with the family” amid Andrew’s eviction from the Royal Lodge, and now Rob Shuter’s #ShuterScoop claims the King is “preparing to seize” the dogs from his brother due to not thinking Andrew is “capable” of taking care of them. Palace insiders say King Charles is “deeply unsettled” by the living situation, and thinks the corgis need a “more stable home—and better judgement around them.”

Meanwhile, a senior courtier claims that the Queen wouldn’t have wanted Sarah Ferguson around the dogs, saying, “Her Majesty liked Fergie, but she was ferociously protective of those dogs. She would never have wanted them left solely with Sarah—and Charles knows that better than anyone.”

The king things Muick and Sandy are “part of the Crown’s living legacy” but apparently Andrew is straight-up refusing to give them up so…stay tuned?
