Devin Booker Turns His Nike Book 1 into a Converse Chuck Taylor All Star

At the time of writing, Devin Booker’s Nike Book 1 has been in the spotlight for just over two years. Over the last 27 months, the silhouette has amassed dozens of presentations. Its latest, however, may simultaneously be one of the most and least expected.
Worn last night in a tough loss against the Atlanta Hawks, the special Nike Basketball pair recreates one of Booker’s go-to sneakers: the Converse Chuck Taylor. At quick glance, the Book 1 may appear like just a simple black-and-white makeover, but close inspection reveals a number of details that faithfully nod to the One Star Brand’s 100-year-old design.
Booker dropped 27 points in 38 minutes while wearing the homage, which could very well be another Player-Exclusive (PE) option. However, countless netizens have taken to social media to praise the playful Book 1, showing a public interest that could motivate all parties involved to drop the Converse-inspired pair through retail channels.
