Popeyes has launched an exclusive collaboration with Blumhouse’s horror film “Five Nights at Freddy’s 2” through The Freddy Fazbear Crunch Menu, available at participating U.S. locations starting today. The partnership transforms the eerie atmosphere of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria into a dining experience and includes two bundle options:

Freddy Fazbear Deluxe Box: Three pieces of classic or spicy chicken tenders with garlic parmesan rub, garlic-crusted Cheesy Bites with marinara sauce, a Cupcake Cup, and a beverage for $12.99.

Freddy Fazbear Box offers the same chicken tenders and Cheesy Bites combination without the cupcake and drink for $7.99.
Individual items are also available à la carte, including the Cheesy Bites with Marinara Sauce ($3.99) and the Cupcake Cup ($3.99).
“At Popeyes, we love playing with bold flavors, and what better playground than the world of Five Nights at Freddy’s?” vice president of culinary Amy Alarcon said in a statement. “Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria is an iconic part of the film, so we had a blast reimagining that fun, over-the-top energy through our menu. It’s our way of giving fans a delicious taste of the movie’s universe, where that iconic Popeyes flavor meets a little bit of nostalgic pizzeria mystery.”
Popeyes is also releasing exclusive collectible sticker packs featuring the film’s animatronics, available at select Popeyes restaurants nationwide in limited quantities.
This collaboration coincides with the theatrical release of “Five Nights at Freddy’s 2” on Dec. 5. Notably, the initial Five Nights at Freddy’s movie was Blumhouse’s highest-grossing film ever, generating more than $295 million, and was the most watched title on Peacock within its first five days.
Popeyes could use the tailwind. The chain’s same-store sales were down 2% in the third quarter, following a 0.9% decline in Q2, and -4% in Q1. As part of its turnaround strategy, Popeyes plans to focus on its core menu and consistent value, executives said.
