All the couples from throughout the series were back for one final episode to look back on their marriages and evaluate the highs and lows.
But for Maeve, her estranged husband Joe failed to show up.
He declined the invite after news of his romance with Julia-Ruth imploded into the group.
Maeve was left gobsmacked to hear that as soon as she and Joe left the experiment, he booked a holiday with Julia-Ruth in which they ended up having sex in Lanzarote.

Now, as the series drew to a close, Maeve finally addressed Julia-Ruth as she had her say.
However, in a major shock, the fiery star APOLOGISED to Julia-Ruth.
When asked by the experts if there was anything she wanted to say to her rival, Maeve said: “Normally, I would never, ever think about apologising to someone that has hurt me so much.
“But I want to apologise for anything I’ve said to actually upset and hurt you.
“I have a vicious mouth on me.
“I am very aware of that and I do want to apologise if I have said anything that’s been bang out of order.”
Speaking calmly, Julia-Ruth said back to her: “Thank you. I mean, I think your reaction made sense but I really do appreciate the apology.”
She then added: “Thank you and obviously I am sorry too.”
Taking light of the situation, Maeve said: “I would never have done that a couple months ago.”
Previously, Maeve and Julia-Ruth had come to blows when the sex bombshell came to light.
The betrayal left Maeve broken as she was hurt that the husband she loved had ran off with one of her fellow brides.
She was also left bitterly disappointed in Julia and her attitude following her romp with Joe.
