Angry Ginge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, has become a YouTube millionaire for his FIFA and football-related content.

He regularly shares big moments of his life and career with his fans — including working with football legend Wayne Rooney.

He has built up an impressive 3million following over the years on various social media platforms.

But it all started five years ago from his council estate bedroom that he jokingly called a ‘pub’ reports The Mirror.

Speaking on a podcast back in 2023, he shared: “The place I live in is an absolute s***hole.

“If you go on TikTok and put in ‘AngryGinge’s pub’ – because people say I live in a pub – that’s how much of s***hole it is.”

He then explained how bad it was and said: “Windows single-glazed, don’t have a shower, carpets have been down for 30 years, wallpaper’s coming off the walls – but I’m staying there so I can save up to get a house.

“But the rent there is £350 a month, which is an absolute bargain, which is why I’m not complaining about the roof, the f***ing mould.”

He also said that that he didn’t even have a door handle to his bedroom so had to pry it open it with his fingers and that he had cupboard on his walls to soundproof his room.

Angry Ginge began streaming in October 2020, inspired by fellow FIFA streamer Castro1021, gaining modest viewership before taking a short hiatus.

He returned to streaming full-time in March 2021, expanding his presence to TikTok and YouTube — significantly growing his audience.

Earlier this year, Ginge made his first transition into TV, appearing on Channel 4’s Celebrity Gogglebox alongside his close friend and darts champion Luke Littler.

Ginge revealed recently that Wayne Rooney and his other famous pals are going to target him in Bushtucker Trial votes.

The YouTuber, 24, said Manchester United legend Wayne, 40, contacted him after finding out he was going to be competing on the ITV show.

Wayne has since made a blink and you’ll miss it cameo on I’m A Celebrity, as pal Ginge retched in the first Bushtucker Trial.

Angry Ginge became the first of this year’s stars to take part in the food challenge, alongside comedian Ruby Wax.

It was revealed in last night’s launch show that the comedian, 72, and the social media personality will be chowing down at “revolting restaurant” The Divey.

Ruby and Angry Ginge will be faced with the likes of cockroaches and giant mealworms during one round.
