Rock Legend’s Daughter Builds a Down-to-Earth Life in Iowa

The peace and quiet of a life in rural Iowa will draw people from all walks of life. Escaping the noise and hustle of the big city has always been a draw for living in states like Iowa. And apparently, the farm life suits Kelly Osbourne, the daughter of the late rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, just fine.
Who Is Kelly Osbourne?
Kelly Osbourne is the daughter of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne. She and her entire family gained huge levels of popularity thanks to the reality show ‘The Osbournes’, which aired for three seasons on MTV. It remains the most-watched show in the channel’s history.
Why Did Kelly Osbourne Buy a Farm in Iowa?
Osbourne began dating and eventually became engaged to Sid Wilson, a member of the rock band Slipknot, which formed in Des Moines in 1995. The couple has a son, and according to the Des Moines Register, they spend plenty of time on a farm in Iowa. The Register reports that, according to Warren County records, the couple owns a home and around 100 acres of land in Indianola.
Kelly Osbourne and her Family Visit Local Stores
One look at her Instagram and you’ll see that Osbourne and her family love visiting local stores while in the Hawkeye state. The Register reports that one video shows Osbourne and a friend picking out outfits at a local Wal-Mart store. Meanwhile, Winn’s Pizza and Steakhouse in Indianola posted a picture with Osbourne after she stopped by to pick up Wilson’s favorite steak, according to the Register.
It’s hard to argue that life in rural Iowa is a lot different than life in Hollywood. Sometimes, you need to just slow down and play with some ducks!
