Highly-touted point guard Miles Sadler commits to West Virginia

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Ross Hodge scored a significant recruiting victory Sunday as the Mountaineers landed a verbal commitment from Class of 2026 point guard Miles Sadler.

Listed as the No. 4 point guard recruit and the No. 40 player overall in next year’s class by 247 Sports, Sadler announced his commitment to West Virginia Sunday evening surrounded by family and friends in an announcement that was televised by the CBS Sports College Basketball Channel. Sadler is listed by some national recruiting services as a 5-star prospect. 247 Sports lists Sadler as a 4-star recruit.

Maryland, Oklahoma, Tennessee, UCLA and USC were the other finalists for Sadler.

The 5-foot-10 Sadler is entering his senior season at Bella Vista Prep in Scottsdale, Arizona. Teammate Aliou Dioum committed to join the Mountaineers in two months ago.

Sadler is a native of Toronto, Ontario. He has competed on the Canadian Under-17 National team.
