In 1777, George Washington reportedly experienced a vision that foresaw the future of the United States, and now experts think he might have been correct.
According to legend, an angelic figure appeared to him at Valley Forge and prophesied that the young nation would face three great trials. The first two have already been fulfilled – The American Revolution, which resulted in the formation of the country, and the Civil War, that nearly tore it apart.
The third prophecy, however, spoke of something yet to come: ‘hordes of armed men’ carried over the sea to invade America.
As Donald Trump has assembled the largest fighting force in the Caribbean since the Cold War, people are beginning to fear that Washington’s doomsday prophecy might actually have some validity.
At least seven American warships have been stationed in the Caribbean, and on Thursday, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth announced ‘Operation Southern Spear,’ America’s mission against narco-terrorists in South America.
For two consecutive days this week, Trump and his defense team reportedly met in the White House to strategize about potential strikes on Venezuela, according to the Daily Mail.
Fears were stoked by podcaster Ryan Bledsoe, who reminded his listeners of Washington’s vision this week. He claimed that top military officials had brought it to his attention.
“George Washington was visited by the lady. This is a text you can read about in the Library of Congress. This is a real event,” Bledsoe said.
According to Bledsoe, Washington’s third vision includes “a threat of war in a future time that would be so great with powers from the east crossing the sea.”
The US has killed 75 suspected drug terrorists since the Pentagon began focusing on the region, the Daily Mail reported.
Hegseth wrote on social media, “President Trump ordered action — and the Department of War is delivering. Today, I’m announcing Operation SOUTHERN SPEAR.”
