Monday forecast: rain chances return for the start of the work week

Low pressure exits early Sunday, leaving behind much cooler conditions and a slight chance of wraparound showers.

Another system moves into the area as we start the work week, bringing widespread showers and mountain snow.

Winter weather is expected above 6,000 feet.

Highs this week will drop into the upper 50s and low 60s, with nights dipping into the upper 40s.

The last time Las Vegas saw lows in the 40s was back on April 27th.

Monday will see daytime highs in the mid-60s with breezy conditions and minor rain chances during the day, and gusts can be upwards of 20 mph.
