Live Nation’s ONES TO WATCH Series Celebrates Disability Inclusion with Final 2025 Event in Melbourne

In a significant move to elevate voices in the live music scene, Live Nation’s ONES TO WATCH series has announced its final event for 2025, set for Wednesday, 26 November, in Melbourne. This event occurs just before the International Day of People with Disabilities (IDPWD) on 3 December, spotlighting the contributions and talents of artists living with disabilities.

The ONES TO WATCH series aims to champion artists who have been blazing trails in the music industry while advocating for inclusivity. The latest event promises to present an exciting lineup of talent that holds the potential for future success and aims to break down barriers within the industry.

Collaborating with renowned songwriter and activist Eliza Hull, the event showcases a diverse array of Australian musicians who are impacting the cultural landscape. Hull, who will host the evening and perform as a closing act, has garnered attention for her emotive music that resonates with audiences both locally and internationally. With a new record scheduled for release in 2026, Hull remains dedicated to various projects, including a collaboration with Sony Music that creatively reinterpreted Silverchair’s ‘Tomorrow’ for the drama “Playing Gracie Darling.”

Expressing her enthusiasm for the event, Hull stated, “This is exactly what the industry needs right now – a night to celebrate and amplify the incredible artists with disability in this country. I’m incredibly grateful to Live Nation for stepping in and showcasing talent that is so often underrepresented.”

Among the diverse roster of performers is Melbourne-based pop artist Mathilde Anne, whose debut album “NORMAL” released in 2024, has captivated local audiences with its introspective and ethereal soundscapes. Mathilde explores themes surrounding young adulthood and neurodivergent experiences, and she is looking forward to releasing her new EP, “Cigarettes and Anxious Sex,” in 2026.

R.EM.EDY, another Melbourne artist, is set to bring her innovative blend of R&B and pop to the stage. As an advocate for artists with disabilities like ADHD, Autism, and POTS, R.EM.EDY has amassed over 5 million streams and a loyal following, using music as a medium for storytelling and empowerment.

The lineup is further complemented by DJ Cooper Smith, known for his captivating soundscapes and electrifying performances. His commitment to pushing boundaries in the music scene has led to a rapid rise in his career, performing alongside established acts at major venues.

Throughout 2025, the ONES TO WATCH series has made waves across Australia, hosting sold-out events in cities such as Brisbane, Sydney, Perth, and Byron Bay. The program serves not only as a launchpad for emerging talent but also as a vital platform for industry connections, offering a supportive environment for artists looking to make their mark.

As the year comes to a close, the final event in Melbourne seeks to raise awareness for IDPWD while continuing to foster a culture of inclusivity in Australian music. The collaboration with Eliza Hull is a testament to Live Nation’s commitment to amplifying underrepresented voices in the industry.

In the words of Michelle Lucia, SVP of Product & Innovation at Live Nation Australia & New Zealand, “This event helps create real pathways for emerging talent, ensuring every artist has the chance to be seen, heard, and supported by the industry.”
