Tim Tebow, Laura Rutledge wear Georgia jerseys on SEC Nation

Laura Rutledge and Tim Tebow, two proud University of Florida alumni, put on Georgia Bulldogs red and black on SEC Nation Saturday.
No, the Billy Napier era has not driven the duo to abandon their alma mater. Rutledge and Tebow lost a bet. The last time SEC Nation was at Georgia, they agreed to wear Georgia jerseys if Florida lost. Tebow sheepishly backed Florida — perhaps expecting a loss — and cited loyalty to his university.
The Bulldogs beat the Gators, 24-20, two weeks ago, and what better time to make good on the wager than with Kirby Smart on set.
“He’s only doing it because he doesn’t have a coach to be loyal to at Florida,” Smart quipped as Georgia’s mascot, Hairy Dawg, brought out the garb.
Smart whipped out his phone for documentation, Tebow asked for a trash bag in case he hurled, and Rutledge threw her hands up in disbelief at what she was doing.
For shame.
At least Tebow got the last laugh, with “Go Gators! 3-1 vs. UGA” on the back of his jersey.
It’s all in good fun. Rutledge reminded the audience of a time when Smart brought Tebow a jersey to wear and the Gators legend (rightfully) refused. She playfully asked the crowd how long Tebow had to wear it, to which they replied, “All day.”
