X (formerly known as Twitter) seems to be facing a major service disruption worldwide , with thousands of users flagging issues on the outage tracking site, Downdetector. The glitch appears to be widespread, impacting access to the platform across the web version (x.com) as well as the mobile applications for Android and iOS devices.
By 5:20 PM on Tuesday, the outage tracking site Downdetector.com had logged over 10,000 reports from users struggling to access X. The data reveals that the mobile app is the primary source of frustration, accounting for 61% of the complaints, followed by the website at 28% and server connection errors at 11%. This widespread disruption appears to be a global issue, impacting users far beyond Indian borders.
