Who Is Singing the National Anthem at the Cowboys-Raiders Game in Week 11? Get to Know the MNF Singer

The Las Vegas Raiders will host the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football in Week 11, a game where the two teams are trending in opposite directions as they enter the latter stretch of the season.

The Raiders, reeling from a three-game losing streak and fresh off a defeat to the Denver Broncos on Thursday Night Football, are essentially playing for future draft capital. Dallas, meanwhile, returns from its bye week desperately seeking to revive its playoff hopes after two straight losses.

Apart from the game, the broadcast will have a full slate of entertainment, from the National Anthem to the halftime show.

The National Anthem by the War and Treaty

Husband-and-wife duo “The War and Treaty” will perform the National Anthem before kickoff. Formed in 2014 by Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Trotter, the pair has become a part of the most compelling acts in American Roots Song at the 2024 Grammy Awards.

They have been recognized repeatedly by major institutions, including the CMA Awards, the Americana Music Association, the Country Music Hall of Fame, and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Before launching his music career, Trotter served in the U.S. Army, where he was stationed in Iraq. While deployed, he taught himself piano using an instrument located inside one of Saddam Hussein’s former palaces, according to Raiders.com.

Get To Know the Halftime Headliner

Three-time Grammy Award winner Nelly will headline the halftime performance. Since breaking out in 2000 with “Country Grammar,” Nelly has been a defining figure in popular music thanks to his unmistakable vocals.

He is celebrating the 25th anniversary of “Country Grammar” while continuing to tour globally, recently wrapping his “Where the Party At” world tour with Live Nation.

Nelly’s schedule remains packed; he is headlining seven Jingle Ball dates this winter and preparing for the 2026 release of “Heartland 2,” the follow-up to his country-inspired crossover project.

He is also producing and starring in a new television series alongside his wife. With more than 30 million albums sold and chart-topping hits such as “Hot in Herre,” “Dilemma,” and “Ride Wit Me,” Nelly is among the best-selling rappers in the music industry.

Also returning is the Raiders House Band, now in its fifth year of elevating the game-day atmosphere for Raider Nation. Led by trumpeter David Perrico, the 15-piece ensemble will have elite Las Vegas musicians, including an all-female acoustic string section.

Members have performed alongside global icons such as Celine Dion, Santana, Shania Twain, and Diana Ross, among others.
