For the Ireland U-17s, a Budapest-like comeback wasn’t to be as their World Cup dream came to an end in Qatar.
In this round of 16 tie, the Young Boys in Green found themselves two goals down in the second-half as Switzerland came flying out of the blocks after tight a opening 45, with Adrian Llukes’ deflected strike and Sandro Wyss’ rocket put the 2009 winners in the driving seat.
