Why Lamine Yamal isn’t playing today for Spain vs. Turkiye with injury news

Spain are close to having taken care of business in World Cup Qualifiers, but they need a win or a draw to ensure safety no matter what happens around them.
On Tuesday, they get a stern test from Turkiye, and will have to do it without Lamine Yamal.
The precocious, rising superstar Yamal won’t be in the side for the Spaniards on Tuesday evening at home.
It’s another absence for Yamal after he also missed the recent match against Georgia.
Why isn’t Lamine Yamal playing today?
The young Spanish star is out due to injury.
Barcelona has revealed that Yamal is injured, which is why he was withdrawn from the Spanish team for the November international break.
Yamal is dealing with pubalgia, which is considered similar to a sports hernia.
This injury has also been dealt with by Chelsea’s Cole Palmer and Athletic Club’s Nico Williams.
The Spanish side wasn’t happy with Yamal’s late withdrawal.
“I’ve never experienced a situation like this before,” said Spain coach Luis de la Fuente last Tuesday. “I don’t think it’s very normal.”
Later in the week, de la Fuente backed up slightly.
“The best news is that he has 15 years left with us,” the manager said. “We have to think about the present and the future.”
