The 24-year-old, in his third year in the NHL, has one goal in six games. He’s struggled to crack the Bruins lineup, and was placed on waivers by Boston general manager Don Sweeney to assign him to AHL Providence. He last played on Nov. 6.
In 136 career games, all with the Bruins, Beecher has 11 goals and 22 points with a career 53.1 face-off percentage.
He was selected 30th overall by the Bruins at the 2019 NHL Draft.
