Several counties in Central Illinois under Severe Thunderstorm warning

Parts of Central Illinois are under a Severe Thunderstorm warning, the National Weather Service said.
Charleston, Paris and Marshall are under the warning until 3 p.m., according to the latest update from NWS. A warning for Moultrie County, southern Piatt County, southern Champaign County, northwestern Douglas County, and southeastern Macon County was issued earlier.
Shortly after 1 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located over Decatur moving east at 45 mph, NWS reports. Residents are advised to move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building for safety precautions.
Metereologist Andrew Pritchard warned residents of hail in southwest portions of Champaign County.
