CCTV Released as BTP Seeks Information Over Airdrie Train Incident

British Transport Police have issued a CCTV image of a man who may have information relevant to an incident on a train in Airdrie last month.

The incident occurred at approximately 7pm on Tuesday 21 October on a service running between Airdrie and Drumgelloch. Officers say the man pictured could hold details that would assist their ongoing investigation. They are urging him, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward.

The man is described as white, in his 50s, bald, around 5ft 8in tall, and of a heavy build. He was wearing a green waterproof jacket, dark blue jeans, and black boots at the time of the incident.

British Transport Police have asked anyone with information to get in touch by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 2500128041. Information can also be shared anonymously with Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
