“We can’t wait for March, we want the World Cup”, Fisnik Asllani speaks after the draw against Switzerland

The Kosovo national team drew 1-1 at home against Switzerland in the final match of the 2026 World Cup qualifying cycle.

After the match, striker Fisnik Asllani made a statement, saying that he is looking forward to March and that they will do their utmost to qualify for the World Cup.

“I’m very happy. The whole team has done a very good job. We are very proud, we have achieved an important success. I will return to the club, I will give my best.”

“I want to score more, assist more and we will look at a transfer when the time comes. We performed very well in the qualifiers.”

“We can’t wait for March and to secure the World Cup,” Asllani told the media.
