‘Significant loss’ – Crystal Palace player leaves NT training due to ‘personal reasons’

Colombia will be without Crystal Palace’s Daniel Muñoz for their friendly against Australia in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
DSports took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to cover the right-back’s situation with the national team.
They claim the Colombian FA are citing ‘personal reasons’ for the Crystal Palace player’s withdrawal.
Therefore, the 29-year-old won’t be available for the fixture. DSports say his absence is a ‘significant loss’ for La Tricolor, but in reality there’s nothing really at stake.
At the weekend, the defender was an unused substitute in Colombia’s friendly win over New Zealand.
Online, DSports adds Muñoz was expected to start against Australia before his withdrawal. They mention ‘family problems’ without providing any further details for him leaving the training.
Oliver Glasner and the Eagles may not have to worry as the fullback didn’t leave due to a fitness concern.
Crystal Palace face Wolverhampton Wanderers at the weekend and Muñoz could be in contention for this clash. He’s made 19 appearances for the FA Cup winners this season.
Three days ago, Muñoz talked about his dream of joining one of Manchester United, Real Madrid, Barcelona or Paris Saint-Germain.
