Blues swoop with double pick swap

Carlton made two pick swaps at the start of the 2025 Telstra AFL Draft.
CARLTON has increased its draft points for this year while further boosting its already strong hand in 2026, after completing two seperate pick swaps with Essendon and North Melbourne.
The Blues have acquired five selections this year – pick Nos.21, 27 and 30 (from Essendon), and pick Nos.25 and 46 (from North Melbourne), as well as the Kangaroos’ 2026 second-round selection – in exchange for pick Nos.9 and 43 (to Essendon) and pick Nos.11 and 54 (to North Melbourne).
These swaps see the Blues significantly move up the order in the second and third rounds in the draft, resulting in a boost to their overall draft points.
It also now sees the Club hold two first-round picks and a second-round pick (tied to North Melbourne) in 2026 next year.
