AFL Draft | Pick 12 | Latrelle Pickett

Draft
Melbourne has selected Latrelle Pickett with pick No.12 at the 2025 AFL National Draft.
MELBOURNE has extended its love of the Pickett name by selecting Latrelle Pickett, cousin to Dees forward Kysaiah, with pick No.12 at the 2025 AFL National Draft.
It’s a special moment for the Pickett family, who saw Kysaiah drafted to the Dees also with pick No.12, six years ago.
As a relative of Kysaiah, it would be easy to compare Latrelle to the star Demon and if you did, you’d see that the two share similar X-factor traits.
Hailing from Port Lincoln in South Australia, Latrelle boasts a plethora of exciting attributes that make him AFL ready.
With natural footballing instincts and a classy finish, his ability to create scoring opportunities is among the best. He has an elite running capacity, topping the South Australian combine 2km time trial.
While the draft bolter didn’t feature in the U18 Championships, he played for Glenelg in the SANFL, featuring in 18 reserves games and kicking 32 goals across these appearances.
