Crows Select South Australian Talent Mitch Marsh in AFL Draft

In a notable move during the Telstra AFL Draft, the Crows have officially selected South Australian forward Mitch Marsh, marking a significant step in their recruitment strategy.

Mitch Marsh, born on February 15, 2007, stands at an impressive 191 cm and has showcased his potential as a forward with a strong performance for West Adelaide’s Under-18 team this past season. Across 15 games, Marsh emerged as a formidable threat, scoring 30 goals and demonstrating his scoring prowess. He also added 12 goals while representing South Australia in the Under-18 Carnival, further underscoring his capabilities on the field.

In addition to his scoring ability, Marsh impressed scouts with his athleticism and endurance, finishing in the top 10 for the 2km time trial at the Draft Combine. This performance highlights not only his physical fitness but also his readiness to compete at a higher level.

Mitch is also following in the footsteps of his father, Ben Marsh, a former Crow who played 48 matches for the club between 1998 and 2003. This lineage adds a personal narrative to Mitch’s journey as he embarks on his professional career with the Crows.
