TalkTalk raises tariffs: millions of customers will pay £48 more

Tariff Increases for TalkTalk Subscribers

Millions of TalkTalk subscribers who use broadband internet will notice an increase in their bills by £48 per year from April. The company has confirmed that new subscribers and those signing a new contract will face a £4 increase as part of their monthly bill, which will occur mid-term of their contract.

TalkTalk subscribers who joined or signed a new contract after November 16 will be subject to these changes.

“We always strive to offer our customers the most competitive prices and services,” company representatives stated. The tariff increase is a result of rising costs for the company to provide services. Subscribers currently using TalkTalk’s services should prepare for the increase, which the company promises will be accompanied by improvements in call quality. Whether this will affect customer loyalty remains to be seen.
