Emmerdale fans are convinced that Celia Daniels is due for a downfall at the hands of a familiar face as her wicked schemes persist.
During Monday’s visit to the Dales (November 17), April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) rang her granddad Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) after she was nicked for drug possession.
The young lass had been in Newcastle carrying out a drugs job for Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths) and her son, Ray Walters (Joe Absolom).
April’s latest criminal endeavour follows an incident where she was sent to a house where a bloke named Callum attempted to assault her. In self-defence, April struck Callum with a bottle, believing she had killed him on the spot.

April promptly informed Celia and Ray, who handled the situation to keep her out of hot water. It was then unveiled that Callum was actually still alive, reports the Daily Star.
After being detained at a police station, she rang Bob and asked him to act as her appropriate adult, knowing there’d be a higher risk of her involvement in Celia’s operation being revealed if Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) went to the station instead.
The officer in charge suggested that April was found with drugs because she is working for someone. Despite the officer being onto the truth, April kept mum in hopes of getting off scot-free.
Upon returning to the village, April was swiftly cornered by Celia and Ray. The duo grilled April about her arrest, as she reassured them that she hadn’t spilled the beans to the police.

After April departed, Celia seemed frustrated by the teenager’s arrest, whilst Ray defended April, remarking: “She’s just finding her feet.”
Celia then issued a warning that should April make further mistakes, “the little tramp will wish she had never been born”, though her comments seemed to unsettle Ray, who departed from his mum looking visibly irritated.
In the wake of Ray’s reaction, several Emmerdale viewers are now speculating that Ray might betray his own mum to protect April.
On X, one viewer posted: “I wonder if Ray will end up killing Celia to protect April?”.

Another responded: “Ooh! That would be nice. I like Ray- that could be his redemption arc before Ray goes to prison. And how poetic… Ray was saved by April’s mum and she died. So Ray saving April by Celia will be sort of Ray repaying the debt.”
A third commented: “#emmerdale Ray is going to double-cross Celia isn’t he.”
“That looks and sigh from Ray suggest he’s had enough of Celia sheer nastiness towards April #emmerdale”, observed another viewer.
Meanwhile, one fan suggested: “Judging by that look I wonder if Ray will end up being the one to save April in the end? #Emmerdale.”
