I’m A Celebrity fans said that they’re ‘obsessed’ after Ruby Wax was called out by Angry Ginge over an incident while cooking in the Australian jungle.

The American comedian and Manchester streamer have proven to be an unlikely duo on the annual Ant and Dec ITV series. Earlier in the week, the pair competed in the first dreaded bushtucker trial of the season.

Titled ‘The Divey’, Ruby and Ginge had to make their way through five horrendous meals each, with each meal named after a celebrity. Having to eat the likes of vomit fruit, giant mealworms and a pig’s testical, the pair managed to win all ten stars.

From here, the duo have become thick as thieves, with rapper Aitch also getting along with both of them. Ruby even joked that if she could date any of her campmates it would be the two young stars from Manchester.

Taking Ginge under her wing, Ruby even shared some of her stories from her time as a talk show host. However, she wasn’t impressed when he told her that he didn’t know who Madonna is, who she claimed she wore her underwear on her head.

On Wednesday (November 19), the celebrities were confused by the poor standard of the rice and beans on offer for breakfast. With it clear they had been left out too long, Eddie Kadu said he ‘felt like I was eating a rock’ as Martin Kemp called it ‘rough’.

Talk quickly turned to who the culprit was, with Ruby choosing to keep quiet as she later told the Bush Telegraph: “I think it was me, I put the rice down but then I forget to get it off. That’s my fault.”

Things went from bad to worse as Ruby found a long hair in her rice. However, still not willing to come forward, she said: “Let’s find the DNA and we’ll find out who screwed up the rice.”

Later admitting that to Ginge, Aitch and Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley about what happened, Ginge began shaking his head and asked her who she expects to get her food when she takes something out of the oven, adding that if he’s ‘off the fire then she’s off the rice’.

Those watching the episode at home rushed to X, previously known as Twitter, to have their say on the hilarious sequence. With many praising Ruby for continuing to leave them in stitches.

@ThinkSludge said: “#ImACeleb Ruby gaslighting the entire camp knowing it was her.” @flightlessdoubt added: “obsessed with ruby acting like she didn’t make the rice knowing she did #ImACeleb.”

@taylqrslqver wrote: “ruby u are not real i love you.” @soul_sniper65 posted: “Ruby not admitting it to the camp #ImACeleb.”

@flightlessdoubt commented: “ruby blaming everyone else for not taking the rice off SHES SO FUNNY I LOVE HER #ImACeleb.” @Jamietalks2000 stated: “Ruby im crying lmfao. she messed up the rice lol.”
