ASX 200 LIVE: ASX to rise; Nvidia results shows shares jump following Q4 outlook estimate

Nvidia reported third-quarter revenue of $US57 billion ($88 billion) and that it expects to report fourth-quarter revenue of $US65 billion.
The chipmaker said it expects gross margins to be 74.8 per cent and 75.0 per cent in the fourth quarter.
“Blackwell sales are off the charts, and cloud GPUs are sold out,” Jensen Huang, founder and chief executive of Nvidia, said in a statement. “Compute demand keeps accelerating and compounding across training and inference – each growing exponentially.”
“We’ve entered the virtuous cycle of AI,” he said. “The AI ecosystem is scaling fast – with more new foundation model makers, more AI start-ups, across more industries, and in more countries. AI is going everywhere, doing everything, all at once.”
Nvidia said third-quarter data centre revenue was a record $US51.2 billion, up 25 per cent from the previous quarter and up 66 per cent from a year ago.
