Detectives seize almost 12 lbs. alleged meth from suspect on bus

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Cheyenne detectives seized an alleged 11.96 pounds of presumptive-positive methamphetamine from a backpack on a Greyhound bus on Sunday, according to a CPD affidavit.
The suspect, identified in records as 34-year-old Marco A. Solis, a non-U.S. resident, is being held on a $100,000 cash bond. He is presumed innocent unless proven or pleading guilty.
According to the report, detectives had obtained a federal search warrant for Solis and his baggage, and they had information that he was on the bus. Around 5 p.m. Sunday, they pulled the bus over on Interstate 25 near the High Plains Road exit.
Solis was reportedly near the rear of the bus and complied with orders to come out. One of the detectives went back to his seat, where the backpack with the suspected methamphetamine was found.
The detective noted in his report that 11.96 pounds is consistent with distribution amounts of methamphetamine.
