ARC Raiders Players Experience Server Outages and Network Timeout Errors

Players of ARC Raiders are grappling with significant server outages, experiencing persistent “network timeout” errors that are hindering their access to the game developed by Embark Studios. Reports of the issues began surfacing around 8:30 p.m. EDT on Friday, as players took to platforms like DownDetector to voice their frustrations.
Initially, the problems appeared to have been resolved briefly, but they resurfaced around 9:15 p.m., leading to over 10,000 incident reports within a short span. Players are encountering various issues, including difficulties logging in and the game failing to load entirely. One user shared their experience on DownDetector, stating, “Can’t even load into the game, ‘network timeout Retrieving data from backend services timed out. Please try again later.’ I click try again and nothing happens.”
Another report came from a player in North Texas who mentioned that while their internet was functioning properly and had no issues with the PlayStation Network, the ARC servers seemed to be the sole culprit. “Server down on PlayStation network in North Texas for me but my internet is ok and no issues detected with PSN network so that just leaves ARC servers,” they commented.
As frustrations grew, players took to social media to vent about the situation. One concerned gamer tweeted, “Don’t ruin my weekend please, Embark. ARC Raiders servers, can we get a break from the up-and-down chaos?” Another player remarked, “Servers are down atm on ARC Raiders. Awaiting further notice before any stream starts.” This sentiment was echoed by users trying to stream the game, who found their efforts thwarted by ongoing server issues.
